Hey there,

On my first trip to Florence, I thought I had everything sorted.

Hotels booked, museum list ready, and time saved just for the Duomo.

But when I finally walked up to that stunning cathedral, ready to climb to the top for the famous view… I was met with a “Sold Out”.

This was the thing I’d been most excited about!

Turns out, tickets to climb the Duomo sell out days in advance, especially in peak season (and even in winter weekends). I learned that the hard way.

So here’s my tip:
👉 Pre-book your Duomo climb and museum tickets as soon as you know your dates. It’s one of those simple things that’ll save your whole day — and your view.

You can grab your Florence Dome & Museum tickets here (they include the Baptistery too):

And if you’re planning Italy in general, my Italy Pre-Booking Guide lists all the attractions you should book ahead. Trust me, you don’t want to find out the hard way like I did.

Ciao for now,
Jasmin
