Hey there,

I’ll be honest… doing a cooking class in Rome was not the thing I was most excited about.

I love Italian food, obviously, but cooking on holiday?

I wasn’t convinced.

But my partner really wanted to do one, and I only had one condition:
“There better be free-flowing wine.”
(A fair request 😂)

So we booked an evening dinner cooking class, and WOW…
I completely understood the hype the moment we walked in.

Fresh dough on the table, glasses being filled before we even sat down, garlic sizzling somewhere in the background, everyone laughing like we’d known each other for years… it was honestly one of my favourite nights in Rome.

It felt less like a class and more like being invited into someone’s kitchen where we were eating, chatting, sipping wine, and learning how to make actual Italian pasta the proper way.

So here’s my tip:
👉 If you’re choosing between a tour and an experience, book the dinner cooking class.

It’s cozy, fun, delicious, and the perfect way to unwind after a big sightseeing day.

Sometimes the things you expect the least end up being the moments you remember the most like drinking wine in a Roman kitchen on a random Tuesday night.
